Forward new rows from a Google Sheet into EnjoyHQ

Forward new data added to your spreadsheet into EnjoyHQ automatically. Google Sheets is also used for storing replies sent via Google Forms so it's a great way to connect both platforms in an easy way.

What is Zapier?

Zapier is a web automation app. With Zapier you can build Zaps which can automate parts of your business or life. A Zap is a blueprint for a task you want to do over and over.

Setting up the automation

Let's start the process by picking Google Sheets as the source of data and use an existing Google account (or authenticate a new one) in Zapier:

Pick "New Spreadsheet Row" from the trigger event dropdown:

and the sheet which will be used as the source of data:

Confirm your choices and proceed to the next step, in which we will configure how the data should be sent to EnjoyHQ. Let's start with a connected EnjoyHQ account (the Zap is still using old name, but works exactly the same):

Final step is to map your sheet columns to how you want the new rows to be sent:

Content

You can choose any column to be used as content in the Feedback section, it's a good idea to add text describing the source column:

Example of mapping multiple columns as feedback:

Tags can be assigned by selecting one or more columns:

If you want to automatically associate a response with a Customer Profile map the email field in the Author section:

Lastly, you can inject properties - in the Zapier configuration they're called Metadata but they serve the same function. To do so, in the first field specify the property name and in the second field, select which column should serve as the property value. You can add more mappings by pressing the + button

And that's it - you can proceed to the review & test. From here, you can send a test document and see how it's imported in your EnjoyHQ account. It might take up to 5 minutes for the document to be available.

The resulting document will look like this:

If something needs tweaking - you can go back and update your mapping. Once you're happy with it - hit publish and mark the Zap as active. Starting from now, any new row added to the sheet will be sent automatically to EnjoyHQ.
