How to import document files
Importing documents is easy. You can import customer interview transcripts, notes from user research sessions, and more. Documents can be imported it in the search area or in any research project.
How to import files: Click on the cloud ☁ button in the top right corner and select the option "Import Documents". If you use Google Drive or any other cloud source you will be asked to connect your account:
You can import documents to EnjoyHQ in any of the following formats: .doc and .docx. You can import documents from your desktop or Drive services such as Google Drive, Dropbox, One Drive, or Box.
Supported file formats:
- documents: .doc, .docx, .rtf
- presentations/other: .ppt, .pptx, .pdf
When importing files from Google Drive, they will be automatically converted to corresponding MS Office formats:
- Google Docs -> .docx
- Google Slides -> .pptx or .pdf (depending on compatibility)
- any other format -> .pdf
Google Sheets can be imported using the dedicated spreadsheet file importer.
Once you select one or more files, you can optionally attach tags to them or add them to a project of your choice:
Managing your files
You can also see all the documents you imported by clicking "View imports" in the user menu. There you will be able to search, delete, and download any of the files that have been imported to your EnjoyHQ workspace.
You can also upload your files as Stories or Projects!
